Perfect for those who want to explore science further, Space Lates events bring together fascinating talks, hands-on activities, and inspiring discoveries from the world of astronomy and space exploration.

Explore the galleries, dive into topics that spark your interest, and enjoy a relaxed evening filled with science, conversation, and curiosity.

All talks and activities are aimed at adults and families interested in science. Children are welcome; however, parents/guardians need to decide if children are happy to attend accessible and engaging 30-minute talks.

This jam-packed evening is designed to allow you to choose and explore your top picks. It's not expected that you'll be able to catch everything.

You are free to explore our galleries throughout the night. Please note that the Rocket Tower and Tetrastar Spaceport will not be open.

Pre-book one of our seasonal shows at no extra cost. Some Space Lates feature an optional Film Club add-on, where you can experience a special, cinema-style screening of sci-fi and space movie classics.

Have your own telescope? Bring it along! The LAS will happily offer advice and tips to help you set it up.

Please note: stargazing activities are weather-permitting and offered on a first come, first served basis

Hot food can be pre-ordered when purchasing your ticket. Our café will be open throughout the evening.
